Rubber Damper

Rubber Damper is commonly made of rubber or elastomeric materials. This damper is designed to diffuse vibratory forces away from the assembly into the environment by having a high damping coefficient, or the ability to bounce back from a disturbance to its steady state. This is very effective and widely used. Rubber Damper absorbs vibration energy and separate it by releasing it in a different form. While this damper can minimize system vibrations, the vibratory energy is then wasted as heat.
